Following the list of leagues that are already thriving in India, Mind Sports League (MSL) also finds its way to India. Owing to the contributions of Brain Duel Games Private Limited, run by Gaurav Gaggar and Kunal Lalani the MSL will have games like poker, rummy, chess and other grey cell burning games.

It is all set to start in October 2018 and it will be played as a tournament where the players will face off with each other in teams representing a city and then eliminating each other. In the final, the winners will lock horns for INR 5 crores over a 3 day finale. The league format will be team-based, wherein teams representing different regions will compete at the national level for cumulative prizes in excess of Rs 5 Crores over a 3-day extravaganza.

“Through Brain Duel, we shall make an effort to give a much needed structure and platform to all players, who seek mind sports as a potential sporting career. We intend to align ourselves with the official federations and governing bodies for a smooth flow of the league and work with them to create a fan and brand oriented league conducive to the growth of the sport,” Gaggar said to the IANS.

The launch was graced by lawyer Vaibhav Gaggar, Chess grandmaster Tania Sachdev and Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal. The dynamic duo behind Brain Duel Games have also shared their plans of giving out franchisees and an Express of Interest to private parties or individuals who would want to be a part of them.

I always hate talking about myself because it feels weird to talk about myself honestly. Ever think that it's weird? No? Just me? My bad. Always hungry, always sleepy and in between always writing. Hope you won't mind!
