What a start it was for both the teams- CSK and KKR. While CSK clinched a win over Mumbai Indians in the season opener, KKR managed an easy win over RCB in the third match. Both, CSK and KKR will now lock horns on April 10 at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. It will be the first home game for CSK in this IPL. They played their first game against MI at Wankhede, Mumbai.
A tough battle is expected to take place. Along with it, a lot of fan base is also expected to come as Chennai Super Kings are making a comeback after two years of hiatus. Both the teams are in the good flow and high on confidence after their first win.
Chennai lacked in batting in the last match. They had only 5 specialist batsmen. They can make one or two changes and bring in a batsman. Kedar Jadhav encountered a hamstring injury in the last match. He is ruled out from the entire tournament due to the injury. There is no more news about changes. Faf du Plessis will again not play this match as he is not fully fit. One among L Ngidi and Mark Wood will get to play. Murli Vijay is doubtful.
After an easy win over RCB, KKR might remain unchanged. Almost everyone contributed to the team’s victory.
