JLT Cup, 2018
New South Wales vs Queensland Bulls’, 14th Match
Queensland Bulls will take on New South Wales in the 14th match of the JLT Cup on Monday.
Both teams have had an abysmal campaign thus far. While the Bulls’ languish at the fourth spot with a solitary win in four games, New South Wales find themselves at the bottom of the pile.
Venue:- Drummoyne Oval, Sydney
Match Timing:- Monday, October 01, 2018, 09:30 AM IST
The Bulls’ were walloped by a rampaging D’Archy Short in the last game. The left-hander en-route to a barely believable 257 off 148 balls pummeled the Bulls’ bowlers to all corners of the ground to help his side post 387 in 47 overs. While D’Arcy Short pummelled the Bulls’ with the bat, there was no respite for their batters as Andrew Tye claimed a six-wicket haul to hand a 116-run mauling despite Sam Hazlett’s 107.
New South Wales, meanwhile, come into this game after finally breaking their 3-match losing streak with an 88-run win against Tasmania after they successfully defended 240 thanks to a five-wicket haul by Sean Abbott (5-43).
