After registering their maiden win over Pakistan Women by 54 runs, New Zealand Women would be looking to bid adieu to the tournament with another win when they face Ireland Women in their last encounter at Guyana on Sunday.

Placed third in Group B, New Zealand Women has secured one win out of their three fixtures. After facing 34 runs win against India in the opening game, New Zealand suffered 33 runs defeats against Australia in their second game. However, they came back strongly in their third encounter against Pakistan and finally registered 54 runs win after bowling out Pakistan on 90 in response to the 145 runs target.

On the opposite, Ireland Women have yet not secured a win. Placed at the bottom of the points table, Ireland has faced three defeats in three games. They lost their first encounter against Australia by 9 wickets and were thrashed by Pakistan and India by 38 runs and 52 runs respectively.
