After clinching the T20 series by 2-1, New Zealand will be hoping to repeat the same in the 3-match ODI series which starts tomorrow. All the three ODI matches will be played at Sheikh Zayed Stadium Nursery 1, Abu Dhabi.

After facing 8 wickets defeat in the first game, New Zealand came back strongly and registered 7 wickets win the second encounter and 5 wickets win in the third encounter to clinch the series by 2-1 lead.

After opting to bat first, Pakistan posted 156-6 on the scoreboard with the help of combined efforts from Skipper Umar Amin(30), Sahibzada Farhan (34) and Hussain Talat (37*). In response, New Zealand chased down the target in 19 overs with 5 wickets remaining, courtesy Glenn Phillips’ unbeaten 69.

Unlike T20 series, Pakistan will be led by Mohammad Rizwan while Corey Anderson is set to lead Blackcaps in the first ODI tomorrow.

Mohammad Rizwan will be the safest bet in wicketkeeper as BJ Watling or Tom Blundell will get to play for New Zealand.
