Victoria will be without the services of Aaron Finch, Peter Siddle and Jon Holland, all of whom have been selected for the Test series against Pakistan in October. The side will be led by axed Test batsman Peter Handscomb. Victoria will be bolstered by the presence of Glenn Maxwell, who was surprisingly axed from the Test side earlier this week. The squad also consists of three teenagers, led by leg-spinning recruit Tom O’Connell while Nic Maddinson, who was dumped by the New South Wales, will look to make an impact for his new state team.

Queensland Bulls:-

Queensland Bulls, meanwhile, will have as many as five players unavailable for selection due to Test duties. They’ll be led by the dynamic hitter Chris Lynn, who with an eye towards the next year’s World Cup, will be looking to have himself match ready and inspire the young side with his performance. Discarded Test opener Joe Burns will also look to put the disappointment behind him with a big tournament while the likes of Jack Wildermuth, Mitchell Swepson and Billy Stanlake will also play a crucial role after having had international experience with the national side over the winter.
