Watford will eye a spot in the top 6 when they visit the St. Mary’s Stadium to take on a sloppy Southampton side on Saturday.
Watford were off to a flying start to the season and despite a little stutter of late, they’re well within their aim of making it to the top 6. Southampton have been sloppy and 3 points against them this week well might propel them to the top 6.
Southampton have been sloppy big time this season. With just 7 points from 11 games, they’re yet again in the battle of relegation zone and any further slipups will only make their aspects of staying away from the bottom three unreal. A win of course doesn’t look to be a very realistic target, but even a draw should ensure a happy Saturday for Mark Hughes and his side.
When and Where?
Southampton will play host to Watford at the St. Mary’s Stadium on 10 November 2018 at 08:30 PM IST.

He accounts for 4 of the 7 goals Southampton have scored this season. He is Southampton’s only finisher, and has pretty much been clinical with his job. Hasn’t got the right service mostly but when it comes to his finishing, he is still on the better half.
His absence was felt in a rather harsh manner by Watford as they succumbed to a painful 1-0 defeat to Newcastle United. He is the one who drives Watford and provides the right setup for others to finish. Not amongst the goals as yet but he certainly has been pivotal for Watford.
Southampton are reeling for answers and if anything is going to happen it has got to happen now for them. They’ve already suspended their vice chairman and technical director. Manager Mark Hughes is on the brink of getting axed if his side slips up for one more time. Given the circumstances, despite the form of both sides, we expect it to finish Southampton 2-1 Watford.
