West Brom Albion vs Arsenal Fantasy XI
Dream 11 Closing Time: 3:30 PM (LOCAL), 31st December 2017
English Premier League – 2017
The Fixture
Arsenal’s testing festive schedule continues on Wednesday, when they take on a resurgent West Brom Albion side at The Hawthorns. The Gunners were involved in a remarkable 3-2 win with Crystal Palace in their last match, showcasing both attacking flair and defensive ineptitude. Manager Arsene Wenger will want to see a much more comprehensive performance from the players involved in south London.
That may not be a big ask, against a West Brom Albion team that is still struggling to create an impact so far in the English Premier League. Having languished almost at the bottom of the Premier League table for a while, the Albions now look not so good to be able to prevent a relegation battle.
The Albions are still trying to find their flow and have put themselves in the relegation zone after occupying 19th position for much of the season. They’ll be confident of causing Arsenal some issues here, with the pace of Robson-Kanu and power of Rodriguez almost tailor-made to get at the Gunners back. Despite being the home side, expect West Brom to surrender possession, allows Arsenal to roam forward and sit deep. However, when they do win the ball back, in Rodriguez and Robson-Kaku the Albions boast the speed needed to turn their opponents around.

Expected winner:
West Brom Albion is winless in 18 Premier League matches but did hold Everton to a draw on Boxing Day. Despite such a terrible record, Alan Pardew’s side is only three points from safety. Arsenal is only a point off the top four but that could be as many as four by the time they play on Sunday. They have lost on their last two trips to the Hawthorns and will need to put their match against Chelsea a few days after this match to the back of their minds.
