The Western Conference sees a game being played as Denver Nuggets host Minnesota Timberwolves in the regular season of the NBA on Tuesday.
Denver Nuggets are the second-placed side in the Western Conference, and they have been someone who has outperformed past the expectations. The team has been in good form, and are looking like a side who can do some damage in the playoffs. They will be looking to retain this spot till the end of the regular season and get a better outing in the first round as they face the seventh seed.
Meanwhile, Minnesota Timberwolves were in the playoffs last year, but have not done themselves justice this time out. The competition just got thicker as the season started, and they lost their star player in Jimmy Butler to Philadelphia 76ers in the trade. Even though the assets they have acquired are still decent, they are still clearly building themselves back. It might once again take this franchise another three years, to make a comeback in the top eight of the Western Conference.
