Golden State Warriors vs Cleveland Cavaliers NBA Finals 2018 Match Preview
When and where:
After a dramatic first game, the two Conference Champions are ready to take each other in the second match of the seven-game series for the NBA Championship.
The second game will be played at Warriors’ home at Oracle Arena, on June 4th at 6:30 AM, IST.
LeBron James produced a jaw-dropping effort by scoring 51-points in the first game. It was evident how crucial he is to the team. It was only down to erratic decision making of JR Smith that cost Cavs the game and LeBron the glory.
Warriors at home is already a juggernaut of a team, and having the opportunity to clinch one win at the Oracle Arena shouldn’t have gone amiss by the team but such is the luck.
Being so close to sealing the win,
GSW vs CLE DREAM11 Team News:
Golden State Warriors –
Andre Iguodala is doubtful for this match –
Shooting-Guard Andre Iguodala is still in question. Even though he didn’t play in the first game, the 34-year-old has still not fully recovered from a knee injury which he suffered in game-3 against Houston Rockets. Kevin Looney is expected to feature from the bench if the two-time NBA All-Defensive inductee has somehow recuperated.
Kevin Durant had a troublesome outing against LeBron and needs to be more dominant in his defence. Stephen Curry and Draymond Green turned up at the latter stage of the game, and they can’t avoid doing that on June 4th.
Cleveland Cavaliers –
Will the Cavaliers still be lamenting the miscue of JR Smith?
Apart from the final seconds of the fourth quarter, the gameplan Cavs had deployed against the Warriors was effective. LeBron James was doing his thing by being the catalyst and was well supported by JR Smith, George Hill and Kevin Love.
Even though they suffered a heartbreak, they need to get over it as soon as possible, because they nullified a lot of strong aspect of Warrior’s game.
If the Cavs any chance of winning the Championship, the second game will be a testament to their will and perseverance. It will test their character and see how they come out of adversity.
Expected Squad for the match:
Golden State Warriors – Draymond Green, Kevin Durant, Kevon Looney, Stephen Curry, Andre Iguodala (questionable), Klay Thompson, Jordan Bell, Shaun Livingston, Nick Young, Quinn Cook
Cleveland Cavaliers – LeBron James, Jeff Green, Tristan Thompson, J. R. Smith, Kevin Love, George Hill, Kyle Korver, Jordan Clarkson, Larry Nance Jr.

GSW vs CLE Dream11 players to watch out for:
Golden State Warriors – Stephen Curry is considered as arguably the greatest shooter in the NBA history and has a pivotal role to play for the team. He scored 29 points in the first game and will be looking to do better as the series progresses.
Kevin Durant is another big name player who joined Warriors last season and made them, even more, a formidable outfit. The Dubs’ Last year’s title-winning campaign was one of the easiest in NBA history as they lost just one game in the postseason. The former Oklahoma City Thunder player also won the NBA Finals MVP to round off a remarkable year.
Kevin Durant had off-night on Thursday. LeBron James almost rang rings around the player, and he would’ve been the talk of the game had it not been the gaffe of JR Smith. He looked outclassed and out thought in every aspect, and needs to get his mentality stable on Sunday.
Cleveland Cavaliers – LeBron James got the tag of the first player in the NBA Finals history of losing a game after scoring 50+ points. He is 33 years of age and it genuinely unbelievable that he is able to play at this level consistently. After playing more than 80 games this season, LeBron is risking his body and career on the line for the team.
JR Smith might be seen as the villain by the Cavs fans, but he has his shot at redemption on Sunday. The New Jersey-born Shooting Guard will be fired up to answer every single of the critics who absolutely obliterated his image on Thursday. Even though he knows he has made a mistake, this is the right time for him to produce one of the best performances of his career to save his reputation.

GSW vs CLE Dream11 Predictions:
Golden State Warriors had to bank on a JR Smith error to ensure the win in OT. A similar feat will not be seen this time around, as the defending Champions will be well aware of the dangers LeBron James possesses. They will take a 2-0 lead in the series with a comfortable win on Sunday.
