Golden State Warriors vs Houston Rockets NBA Playoffs 2018 Match Preview
When and where:
Sometimes things could be deceptive. Power, beauty and everything that comes with big promises often flatter to deceive. But there is no show-off here and neither is anything insubstantial. Some of the finest talents are in action in this year’s Western Conference finals series and you could see how the results have panned out so far.
Golden State Warriors won the first game in this series at TD Garden, Houston Rockets’ home and a venue where they lost just eight games in the last 45 games or so, leaving us in doubts where Rockets are psychology strong enough to perform under immense pressure. After winning the 2nd game at home, Rockets lost the 3rd and then out of nowhere became the first team in the last 18 NBA Playoffs games to beat the defending NBA Champions at their own home. That was the result which made everybody believe that Warriors can be beaten in a 7 games series.
Both these teams won one game apiece in the last two, leaving the series up for grabs come game-7 which will be played at TD Garden, Tomorrow at 06:30 PM, IST.
Now literally, this is a one-off game and whatever the result of this match, the losing team can’t be termed as inferior because there has to be a winner and both Rockets and Warriors have done enough in this series to be worthy of a champion.
Everything else is a sham.
HOU VS GSW DREAM11 Team News:
Breaking News: Andre Iguodala has been ruled out from Game-7 due, Patrick McCaw is available for selection, while Kevon Looney has been listed under the game-time decision.
Golden State Warriors – Klay Thompson was a big doubt before the 6th game, but he played and we are expecting him to start in the game also. Andre Iguodala missed the last three games due to a knee injury, and Warriors’ head coach is still unsure whether he will be available for selection for the series defining the 7th game. So he comes under the game-time decision.
All other big-name players are available for selection.
Houston Rockets –
Chris Paul is less-likely than likely
Chris Paul suffered a hamstring injury in Game-5 and didn’t travel to Oakland for the crunch 6th game. Rockets have informed that he will be evaluated before the game, so he, too, comes under the game-time decision.
Expected Squad for the match:
Houston Rockets – P. J. Tucker, Trevor Ariza, Clint Capela, James Harden, Eric Gordon, Gerald Green, Luc Mbah a Moute, Nene Hilario
Golden State Warriors – Draymond Green, Kevin Durant, Kevon Looney, Stephen Curry, Andre Iguodala (questionable), Klay Thompson, Jordan Bell, Shaun Livingston, Nick Young, Quinn Cook
HOU VS GSW Dream11 Playing Team:

- Forward – Draymond Green, Kevin Durant
- Center – Andre Iguodala / Kevin Looney

HOU VS GSW Dream11 players to watch out for:
Houston Rockets – James Harden is one of the favourites to win this season’s MVP award. He has been quite superb throughout the season, averaging well above 30s in the regular season. What LeBron James means for Cleveland Cavaliers, Harden is everything for Rockets. So if Houston want to win the west, Mr Beard has to deliver in the biggest match of his career.
Along with him, Chris Paul is Rockets’ 2nd best player. But he missed the last game through injury and still remains questionable ahead of this match. If he doesn’t play in this game, Eric Gordon has to fill the void and must provide ample support to Harden in this match.
Golden State Warriors – Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant make a formidable duo on any Basketball court. More often than not, they both deliver on a consistent basis, and if that’s not the case, then Klay Thompson may pop-up as happened in the game-6 when he dropped a game-high 35 points at Oracle Arena which forced the game-7.

HOU VS GSW Dream11 Predictions:
What happened in the East may happen in the west. Cleveland Cavaliers headed to Boston to win the Eastern Conference. But the Greens were unbeaten in the playoffs at their home and haven’t lost an NBA playoff series when they took a 2-0 lead in the postseason. So the stats and form were against LeBron James and company. But what happened is a part of history books now as Cavaliers won the game and entered into yet another NBA finals.
This could be same for Warriors as they are away to Houston and need to win the game to defend their NBA title.
