2018 Deltin Poker Tournament concludes, Awnish Singh bags Main Event

The 2018 Deltin Poker Tournament concluded on July 29, 2018 with its Main Event being their best presentation of the tournament. The Main Event saw huge registration on all starting flights. Day 1A got 80 entries, Day 1B received 153 entries and Day 1C bagged 225 entries for the top 49 paid positions in the tournament. It was expected to be a tough fight among all the poker players that have joined the tournament from all parts the country but Awnish Singh was unstoppable.

Awnish Singh, had to compete against 456 other entries and in the end came out as the only man standing with the Main Event title prize of INR 35.04 lakh to his name. On his way to glory he had to face many poker favourites across the nation but the most prominent ones were his battle with Sailesh Lohia and Bhuvan Bansal. Awnish Singh looked determined from the start and his braveness in tough times helped him earn big on the table. His aggressive approach to each and every hand played, left others to either fold their cards or falling for his bluff which significantly gave him the charge in the game.

The second day saw the poker players eliminating like a house of cards which put Awnish Singh and Vidur Singhal for the penultimate battle. Awnish followed his aggressive approach in the final act as well and soon his aggression got the worse of his opponent who failed way short to Awnish’s flush and ended up in the second place.

The Deltin Poker Tournament was powered by Adda52. It is India’s biggest offline poker series that puts INR 1, 0,000,000 for grab. It was held in the Deltin Royale cruise ship offshore in Goa from 26th July to 29th July, 2018 in the Mandovi river in Goa. The players were selected from the online competitions hosted by Adda52
