India’s Aditya Sushant finishes 4th in Championship event,wins PHP 973,300
2018 APT (Asian Poker Tour) Finale Philippines Championships Event has concluded and Indian challenger Aditya Sushant has finished third in the prestigious tournament. Japan’s poker pro Iori Yogo who has marked his presence mark everywhere was at his clinical best again as he won the first prize to finish first for PHP 2,872,800.
Yogo outplayed Malaysia’s Anthony Thong Boon Tee in the heads-up play to win the APT trophy. Indian challenger Aditya Susant who had entered the final table with the sixth-highest stacks worth 188,000 climbed the ladders steadily and went on to finish third.
This win comes as his career best in APT till date and he scored a deep-fourth-place to pocket around 13.02 lakhs.
Sushant had also finished third in APT- Asian Series Goa for 1.29 lakhs and he finished 18th in the 2015 APT Philippines, Manila for 97,000. Last year, he finished 10th in the $220 NLHE. Last year he also won accolades in the 2017 APT Championships Manila for 37,405 when he finished 10th in the $220 NLHE 1-Day Event. India’s challenger Madhav Gupta had also entered the event but he hit the rail soon thereafter and got eliminated on Day 2.
